Frida, played by Catalina Cuervo, was phenominal.
Her voice was clear, consistent and always in character; her presence swayed across the stage with such elegance and sass.
I would love to see this play again, preferably on the main floor.

Tina

Amazing performance! We loved everything, from the orchestra, to the costumes, to the set, to the incredibly talented performers! Bravo!

Kim

It was a wonderful experience for my first opera. Enjoyed the story and the music.

Annie

The performance was wonderful!! The cast was amazing . The Music Hall on the other hand was awful. We were seated up in the Mezzanine, and the ceiling above us had cracks so water was dripping on us the entire time. We were told a manager would come see us, but never did . The box office was closed when we tried to complain. The ushers were also seating people throughout the show. It was distracting and rude. This made the experience memorable-not in a good way 🙁

Kris

Suffice it say that we left at the Intermission.

Jonathan

Had to skip because of horrible traffic downtown From wings game. Infrastructure there really has not caught up to having so many facilities in one congested area.

I absolutely loved this production of Frida. I had seen the movie so I was familiar with her life's hardships, but they portrayed them in a fashion that evoked powerful emotions. The singing voices were beautiful and easy to understand.

Gale

My daughter and granddaughter attended on Sunday. They thought the opera was amazing. They enjoyed the stage background, having Freda Kahlo paintings.

Chris

The MOT production of Frida was wonderful. The set, the voices and the costumes were all excellent. I highly recommend it.

Jack

Excellent, great music, libretto, costumes, set. I could hear and see well from toward back of the mezzanine.

Chris

Forgettable.

Mary

Wonderful, very moving. I had seen it at the DIA, but this presentation seemed to be expanded and even more vibrant. Spectacular!
