Amanda Lynn Bottoms will begin her 2023-24 season performing in a variety of concerts with the Moab Music Festival, followed by a brief residency at Skidmore College during which time she will sing Richard Danielpour’s song cycle
The Unhealed Wound alongside Eric Owens. Other highlights of the season include an appearance at Carnegie Hall with the Cecilia Chorus of New York for the premiere of Daron Hagon’s
Everyone, Everywhere, and a recital and masterclass at the University of North Florida.
Amanda began the 2022-23 season with her mainstage debut at LA Opera as the Mother in
Omar. Other engagements this season included
The Last American Hammer with Opera Grand Rapids as Dee Dee Reyes,
Die Zauberflöte with the Buffalo Symphony, and the Mahler
Symphony No. 3 with the Akron Symphony. In the 2021-22 season, she also starred as Charlie Tyler in the Dayton Opera world premiere of Finding Wright, and debuted as Leocasta in
Giustino with Long Beach Opera and Girlfriend #3 in
Blue at Pittsburgh Opera. A beloved guest artist with the New York Festival of Song led by Steven Blier, Bottoms will collaborate with the institution for several performances, including their return to live performance
