The exuberant, jazz-gospel makeover of Handel’s classic Messiah returns to the Detroit Opera House stage for the first time since 2019.  Fiery soloists Rodrick Dixon, Alfreda Burke, and Karen Marie Richardson are back, along with pianist Alvin Waddles, a jazz combo, the Detroit Opera Orchestra and Rackham Choir under the baton of Suzanne Mallare Acton.  Celebrate the 20th production of this Detroit tradition and fill your soul and spirit!
