Noam Heinz, Perchik

Noam Heinz is a British-American-Israeli baritone recognized for his commanding stage presence and richly expressive voice. Praised by critics for a “rich, powerful voice imbued with extraordinary range and emotional depth,” he is rapidly establishing himself as a versatile performer across operatic and concert repertoire.

In the 2026 – 27 season, Noam joins the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal for the world premiere of Letter From Across the River by Dalit Hadass Warshaw, which will also be recorded for commercial release. He appears as Maximilian in Candide with Opéra national de Lorraine, Opéra de Reims, and the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, and makes his debut with Detroit Opera as Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof. He returns to the Israeli Opera as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte and takes on the title role of Don Giovanni with Opéra de Toulon.

In the 2025 – 26 season, Noam was a finalist in the Paris Opera Competition. He appeared with the Israeli Opera as Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas, and with the Staatsoper Stuttgart as Second Leviathan in Der rote Wal by Vivan and Ke t an Bhatti.

In the 2024 – 25 season, he appeared at the Komische Oper Berlin as Horemhab in Akhnaten and as Schaunard in La b ohème, with both productions by Barrie Kosky. He also made his debut at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence as Mr. Redburn/First Mate in The Story of Billy Budd, Sailor, in a production staged by Ted Huffman, and was invited to join the Académie of the f estival.

From 2023 to 2025, Noam was a member of the International Opera Studio of the Komische Oper Berlin, where he developed a broad and stylistically diverse repertoire. His roles included Ben Harper (Tom Sawyer), the Priest of Jupiter (Hercules), Revierförster (Die kleine Hexe), Holger Nilsson (Nils Holgersson ’s Wondrous Adventures), and the Duke of Mantua (Die Banditen).

A graduate of the Meitar Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera (2020–2022), Noam appeared in studio productions as Nick Shadow (The Rake’s Progress) and in the title role of Don Giovanni. During this period, he also performed Masetto (Don Giovanni), Papageno, Prince Yamadori (Madama Butterfly), and Le Dancaïre (Carmen) with the Israeli Opera.

Equally at home on the concert stage, Noam has performed Raphael in Haydn’s The Creation, Handel’s Johannes-Passion, and Fauré’s Requiem. He has also appeared in Jose f Tal’s Exodus at Carnegie Hall (Stern Auditorium), as well as numerous additional oratorio and symphonic works. Noam studied at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv.
