Soloist

Lauren McGlynn has sung the choral ensemble ANÚNA since she first appeared on the album Illuminations in 2014. She is the youngest member of the group, aged seventeen. Besides being a singer with ANÚNA she plays mandolin and violin, and has a keen interest in Irish traditional culture and language. 

She appears on the soundtrack of the film Riverdance: The Animated Adventure (2021) as a soloist on the songs Lift the Wings and The Heart’s Cry, both of which featured ANÚNA in the original productions of Riverdance in the early 1990s. 

In 2022 she was a soloist on the soundtrack of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 singing the music of Japanese composer Yasunori Mitsuda. In 2023 she sings the title song of the video game Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. 

Lauren is also a member of Systir – the offshoot all-female group from ANÚNA, and recently completed a tour with them in the Netherlands and Belgium.
