Mariana Sanchez Hernandez

Mariana Sanchez Hernandez is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist. She has a background in architecture and earned an MFA at the Yale School of Drama, and since then has been designing sets for theater, opera, and ballet. In 2024 she earned an MA in painting from the Royal College of Art in London. She is based between New York and Mexico. Some of her theater credits include: The Great Privation at Soho Rep; Square Dance at Miami City Ballet; Anatomy of a Suicide at Atlantic Theater; Marys Seacole at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3; The Central Park Five at Portland Opera; God of Carnage at Milwaukee Rep; Troy and The Winter’s Tale at The Public Theater; Manahatta and War at Yale Repertory Theatre; and unseen, The Copper Children, Manahatta, The River Bride, and All’s Well That Ends Well at Oregon Shakespeare Festival; among many others.
